Oh my Lord, i dont know how i'll do it on the 6-sp S. I simply can;t get my hand in there enough. And even once i got the line wrench on, it, it has maybe 10 degrees of turn before it encounters an obstruction.

What do people do, put a 11mm deep socket on it, put the thing under pressure, and let it drip down the side? Then open/close it "loose" with the clutch pedal pump?

I presume that even with pressure, one needs to pump the clutch pedal once or twice to get the fluid to move through that system....

the only way I can do it is to lay on my back with my head near the LR fender area (with LR wheel off) , laying at a 45% degree angle with feet somewhere around passenger door threshold area, using left hand I can work it up there but it is a B*%#@ to do. Maybe it would help if I had a lift instead of jack stands. I usually use a open end wrench but perhaps a 11mm box end wrench would help, you should get a 12 point though to give more holding options, also cutting it a bit shorter may help. I have thought about a ratcheting box end as well, it would help quite a bit if you know anyone with 2 elbows on one arm.
It's a b*&ch, but you can get in there.

I wear a long sleeve shirt to cut down on arm scrapes. Wheel off and find an angle through the suspension that works. I put a box wrench on it before the drain tube and make little turns. Per Pedro's suggestion, when I do it in the spring I am going to take the bleed nipple all the way off and replace with a brake line and then put the nipple on the end of that. No more pain.
Both of you hit it on the head. The position, the scrapes, ...

... and the desire to put the brake line on there and run it to a convenient spot. Maybe drill adn have it mounted on the fender wall, a badge of honor and convenience :-)

The 11mm 12-pt is the key. Ratcheting would not be good because you also need to close it.

I did run a nice, long hose to the ground.

I need triple articulated arms.

The correct tool is ...

... a Pass-Through Socket.
It allows you to connect a drain hose to the clutch slave bleed nipple and pass it through the socket and ratchet.

It's not as if ...

... you have to do it in a split second.
It takes several minutes to get the hydraulic fluid flushed from the clutch.
During that time you can move the ratchet's lever over so that you can tighten when the moment arrives.
Heck, you can even slide the ratchet/socket assembly down the tube while it's still draining.
The hose stays in place.
It really works well.
But, if you're constantly going to be flushing the hydraulics, just wait for my new product (TechnoFlush) which will extend the bleed nipple to a more comfortable place, near the left rear brake caliper.
Happy Flushing,
Pedro

I use a special tool for that too ...

... it's called a two-by-four that you cut to size and it fits between the depressed clutch pedal an the front of the seat.
That way you don't have to depress or have someonelse step on the clutch.

It can't suck in air unless the reservoir is empty.
It shares the same reservoir as the brakes.
