Laz thought it's a sensor (maybe for the climate control).

My MY 2014 doesn't have one. It might be located somewhere else.

I don't know what it is, but it would look much better with a Mushroom Cloud on it! winking smiley
Here it is in the online manual. Page 53 like you said.

My manual has it on page 52. Checked in the car again, and it looks like they've moved it to the left, just around the corner so it's facing the steering column, out of view. At least now I know how to tell a '14 from a '13 981. smiling smiley
Maybe not. My 981 is an early 2013 and that sensor (if that is what it is) is also "around the corner" facing the steering column.

A 200 page PCM manual that's still incomplete, misleading and confusing is borderline ridiculous....IMHO of course!

Then there's the Owner's Manual, the quick reference guide, the iManual and special bulletins. Porsche has lost it's way.

"A mile of highway will take you one mile. A mile of runway will take you anywhere."

What's a "PCM?" *NM*

Yep, I agree ..... I can't find my answers in the owner's manual. That's why I ask them here. I read, then have more questions. I need that book "Porsche for Dummies" .... who's writing it?
