I just happened to see an ad for this. Its nto a new mount, but rather an insert that fills some of the voids in existing mounts.

A lot of money for a piece of rubber ($130) but maybe a good solution. I'm curious how well it works and how much NVH is increased. Some is fine.

bushing with a new one? For less money I am going to replace mine with a TechnoMount.
Several reasons.

1. technomounts have been out of production for siome time, even when i beg :-)
2. new factory ones fail
3. new factory ones leave alot of drivetrain lovement on the track
4. btu solid ones, and the most common semi-solid ones, transmit a blank-load of NVH and in some cases so much that they fool the knowck sensor into thinking detonation is taking place, costing one power

So, it may be a very expensive pice of rubber, but if it works, it may well be worth it.

That's what I press into my TechnoMounts.
The core from the 2008 Cayman S.
Works very well.

The part that wears ...

... and breaks is the rubber center.
The frame of the mount is just structural aluminum which doesn't suffer.
I replace just the center (rubber) core with the factory insert using a recycled frame.
This center has to be press out and pressed in with a 20 ton press.
The complete assembly (core and frame) is what's known as the mount and that just bolts in.

.. just bolt in? That's how most factory units are sold. Or are you saying the cayman S one wont fit my car and you must dis-assemble it?

... I save you money with the TechnoMount by recycling the parts that doesn't wear out.
I sell you a complete mount (with the Cayman Rubber) for a lot less than you would buy from the dealer.
