Nice looking Cayman S. Terrible looking grass. Bet you can't wait until that white stuff is gone..

Did you order it? What options did you get?
Beautiful! Congratulations! *NM*

Big congrats, that is a seriously beautiful car...

I just finished reading a glowing one-page review of the 2014 Cayman S in the new issue of Excellence. The 981 CS sounds awesome. I have a friend here in Nashville who just took delivery of a Guards Red 2014 CS. He loves his new ride.

Nice build sheet too. I love the Agate Grey.

Looking forward to your first driver's report, your impressions, and more photos. smiling smiley

Not exactly true. I know it feels chilly to Floridians, but 77F feels more like summer to me.

...ahh to have Florida's three seasons - Last Summer, This Summer and Next Summer. Must be rough.
Actually, we only have two Seasons...

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna

Well, in that case, there must be a significant difference in the right and left coast climates, as I have it on good authority that the left coast has the 3 seasons. winking smiley

That is going to be one seriously fun car to drive. PASM and PTV will make it a blast in the twisties.

I'll be looking forward to hearing your impressions after your first few drives.
Bi-Xenons
Guenter in Ontario - Friday, 14 February, 2014, at 12:13:12 pm
One thing I almost take for granted now is the Bi-Xenons. Not sure if you've driven with Bi-Xenons at night. If you haven't, you'll find a HUGE improvement over the light you have in your '99 Boxster. Not only do they throw a lot more light onto and further down the road, but they give you a definite cut-off line so they don't blind oncoming drivers. You'll see road signs further down the road, even on low beams than you ever saw with your old headlights.

It really shows up in this short clip I have, driving through a couple of tunnels on the Blue Ridge Parkway. In the first tunnel, check the light pattern of the oncoming car on the wall and compare it to the light pattern the Xenons are making on the right wall.

Weather is suppose to break next week and maybe hit 50F. With the snow we have it will create a bit of flooding
Wow! Very nice!!

Especially love those wheels. If you get a chance would be nice to get a close up shot of them. Good luck on waiting out the snow.
