Products for your Boxster, Cayman and Carrera.
I have an 04 and have always used Mobile one. a friend of a friend has a newer shop and I am considering taking my Boxster there for a new oil change for the New Year. I have seen on ppbb most users swear by mobile one - is anyone familiar with lubromoly?
It's good oil. Very expensive, but good.
Most, if not all of the synthetic oils on the market will do a good job of lubricating.
What's really important (IMNSHO) is the amount of Zinc and Phosphorus (ZDDP) and the weight (viscosity).
I now use Mobil 1 0W50 Racing Oil because it has the highest level of ZDDP (1750 ppm).
From day 1 my car has been on a strict diet of M1 10W40 (up to 70,000 miles) then M1 15W50 (up to 200,000).
Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Thank you Pedro, I appreciate your feedback.
