"All change is not growth, as all movement is not forward."Plus a report several days ago out of Dubai's 2015 Motor Show has Mr. Peter Vogel, Director of Porsche MENA (Middle East and North Africa), stating that base Boxster will have a 4 cylinder turbo but that the S and GTS versions will
always have a 6 cylinder engine.
Could be the reason Porsche has dilly dallied and delayed the 981.2 release, while rushing ahead with 'MY 17' 991.2 and Macan offerings. The 981.2 could have the following engines:
Boxster = Flat 4 turbo (2000cc) around 240hp
Boxster S = Flat 6 turbo (2500cc) around 320hp
Boxster GTS = too soon to guess.
YMMV
