| 97 Boxster Horn goes off when braking patrick - 6 years ago |
Hi folks. Haven't posted here in ages. Good to see many of the old names still on the board.
Still driving my silver/red 97 Boxster.
Hard to believe that I will have owned it for 20 years as of next week.
It has developed a strange problem.
The horn goes off when I brake especially if I brake hard to a stop.
I also noticed that the horn will go off if I lightly touch the center of the steering wheel.
Hope the electrical problem is not serious.

easy fix. do an internet search on "boxster horn o-ring" - the first link takes you to a cheap, easy, good fix.Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
