Rear diagonal strut brace

I'm the new owner of a 2013 Boxster - 15K, 6MT, Sport Chrono and lots of fun. I have some corrosion on the rear diagonal strut braces (981 331 131/2 04). I'd like to refinish them with POR15. They look to be held on with 4 nuts and a bolt. Can I just remove these without causing problems with the alignment or other things in the suspension? If so, is that best done with the suspension loaded or not?
