I've noticed my car was beeping twice when using the remote in my kee to tock it.
I've used the Durametric scan device and found the following:

Alarm I48

Code 60 (in Yellow)
Status: Not present
Occurance counter: 1
This fault is displayed for informational purposes, it is not an indication of a problem and no repair is needed

Code 34 (In Red)
Passenger compartnment monitoring sensor, short circuit to ground
Status: Present
Occurance Counter: 1.

Alarm I32

Code 60 (in Yellow)
Central locking limit position Lock not reached
Status: Not present
Occurance counter: 1
The fault is displayed for informational purposed, it is not an indication of a problem and no repair is needed

Code 34 (in RED)
Interior sensor faulty
Occurance Counter: 1.

The two beeps happen sporadicaly.
I've checked all fuses, they are all good. I've disassembled the sensing unit located near the top latch and all connections seem ok. There is one gray wire & connector lose, but I did no find any place to connect it.
What can I do to fix the problem myself?
Am I running the risk of the car catching fire due to the short circuit to ground msg?
Thanks much for your advice!
Leandro
The two beeps when locking the car just means that there is an open circuit in one or more:
• Front hood
• Rear trunk
• Right door
• Left Door
• Oddsment compartment

If they are all closed and latched and you still get the two beeps, there may be an issue with one of the door locking mechanisms.
Happy Bolstering,

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Thanks for the reply Pedro!
Frunk, trunk and doors closing and locking just fine.
What is Oddsment compartment?
Where to start diagnosing?
Thanks!

Glove box and console.
Got it thanks. I have noticed my frunk light bulb is no longer working. It used to radonmly be on and off when opening it.
Also have noticed the volume of my radio is no longer increasing with the accelration of the car and vice-versa.
Suddenly it goes up and then down again.
I believe all of that could be a reflection of what is going on....
Here we go....electrical problems huh....
"Oddment". That's where you'll find it in the dictionary.
