2007 Boxster S, 48,000 miles. Area of issue is in the large dashboard circle showing RPMs. In particular the area at the bottom where the digital speed is shown along with other info such as tpms, mpg etc. There is a random pattern of squiggles arising from the bottom of the gauge upwards and increases in size not while I am driving but has grown upwards the next time I get in to drive. Anyone have thoughts on the problem and what is to be done?
The LCD screen is damaged (heat/age/environment).
I've seen it get better but it will mostly keep deteriorating.
Replacing the LCD is the real solution.

Happy Boxstering,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
