Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna

The EU and German gov't have been leaning on the European automakers really hard, which surely influenced Porsche's decision. The automakers are all paying the price now. VW group just announced the closing of three plants in Germany (something they have never done in the 87 year history of the company), layoffs of 10,000 workers, etc. EVs aren't selling as well as hoped and a lot of what is selling in Europe is Chineses EVs. We can always hope some common sense will prevail and our wonderful cars will get a reprieve (or at least steady parts support) to keep them on the road as long as most of us are still around.
