I read about the six-stroke a while back. Though whether it will save our beloved Boxsters and Caymans is an open question. Porsche has themselves backed into a corner since they apparently can't extend the current Boxster/Cayman (and Macan) because of an EU cybersecurity requirement. Porsche chose not to make those platforms compliant thinking they could avoid the cost by bring the electric replacements online. How's that working for them????
