Need Radio Code..
MarioGtz - Wednesday, 30 March, 2011, at 5:55:26 pm
I just bought me a 2001 Boxster a month ago and love it. Unfortunately I changed the battery on it and since then my radio is asking me for a code for it to operate again. I look it up in the owners manual but has nothing about it. Can someone help me with this? Mario

go to www.renntech.org.
Read the Lost Radio Code FAQ.
Record the radio serial number following the directions.
Then look at the first message. ..the one saying post your request here. Go to the end of that thread
Post your Radio's serial number in a request and wait for a reply.

Mario, this may be a long shot, but look at the data sticker on the underside of the front hood. Dealer mechanics sometimes write the radio code on the sticker so they don't have to deal with looking it up on future occasions. I found that to be the case when I bought my Boxster used. Rich

You also might find a card in with your instruction manuals, that has the code.

Thanks to all for your help. I found a site where they sell the codes for a minimal price and very very accurate. www.radio-codes.com.uk :-)
