i don't have speed channel. in fact, i don't have any channels!!! no TV.

Just watched a lot of great DVDs and tapes. I also listened to the radio, and hundreds of LPs and CDs.

Oh, there were maybe two or three Boxters in the race.

Here's a clue, maybe everyone should leave out the "S" when referring to the Speed Channel, and see how they like it.

most of the time I don't.

Over time I think I miss it until go on a road trip and stay at motels with cable TV and then I remember what I used to say when I had cable: "500 channels and nothing is worth watching".

So I have a big collection of DVDs: animated movies (my favorite genre), comedy, some drama (though nothing really recent), some modern and classic ScFi, and some classic movies (all kinds: drama, crime, western, comedy) and some nice science specials stuff, Walking with Dinosaurs, Sea Monstors, When Dinosaurs Roamed America, etc.

And I have some stinkers in the mix: Smokey the Bandit II comes to mind.

Peter Schutz left Porsche in the late 80s (87 IIRC).
I don't know what he drives for sure, but he's a Panamera type.

a great story teller. About two years ago he published a book about his time at Porsche and team building, that's when he told us about his Cayman. He was touring around Florida doing book signings with one trunk full of books and the other his travel gear. He remarked that what the Cayman was capable of is an accomplishment for any car but for a sports car to be that practical was unheard of in his time. He has many more stories including the moment the 911 was saved from extinction .

He now makes his living as a Speaker and charges around $20,000 per.
I hired him when I lived in St. Louis to speak to a group of execs and he was fantastic.
That's when I asked him to dedicate my Boxster brochure.
I haven't seen him in a while.
I'm happy to hear he also drives a Cayman, like the current CEO.
Carlos, you should invite him to join PedrosBoard the next time you see him.

OK. I might see him after BRBS, the club is having a mixer and he is suppose to be our guest of honor. I'll ask him what he is currently driving, since Porsche gives him a new car to drive every year.
