Never thought about it before but changed mine with ATE Blue today and what a simple benefit the color change is. You know exactly when the old stuff has moved through. I wonder why the mainstream manufacturers have not done this.

1. At the Tire Rack they state it exceeds DOT 4 requirements, but isn't DOT approved in Florida... because of the blue color. (What the heck is that about?)

2. Be sure to continue flushing until the exiting fluid is as blue as what's going in, otherwise there's still some old yeller' in there.

Minus 40 degrees... Is that Fahrenheit or Celsius?

... make sure to tell them that it is for your racecar.
The ATE blue and the Typ 200 is exactly the same except for the blue dye.

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
I swap between ATE blue and gold for that very reason. In this day and age, it's a shame that a product is judged by the color of its fluid. eye popping smiley
