Rear wheel bearing
marty - Tuesday, 14 June, 2011, at 12:09:30 pm
When driving round say a hair-pin right hand bend quickly, I hear a noise from the inside back wheel. It only does it on right handers and sounds a bit like it's coming from the steel disc cover plate.

There is nothing loose that I can feel. Could I have a wheel bearing grumbling?

Marty (UK) 1999 Boxster 2.5 manual
The increased noise is caused by a weight shift onto the outside bearing.

I would check the heat shield that's directly behind the rotor to see if it is loose or rubbing.
aye, twice. *NM*
