(want to guess who uses that side) of my 1999, 996 Carrera Cab. I used super glue once and it eventually broke again. I contacted the dealer but they only sell the whole assembly, any ideas? Thanks, Carlos

You can still use the super glue for positioning, then reinforce with epoxy.

Minus 40 degrees... Is that Fahrenheit or Celsius?

What exactly broke, Your Majesty...

... was it at the hinge or somewhere else.
For the plastic pieces I generally weld it back instead of using glue.
Using a fine soldering iron and some surplus plastic material weld the broken piece back or add material and then whittle to size with a knife or dremel.
And tell Her Majesty that that's why she has her Maids of Honour and LAdies in Waiting, so she doesn't have to use the Carrera's mirror winking smiley
Happy Porsche-ing,
Pedro

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
epoxy it shut just in case, and #3 was something about using a hot branding iron, right winking smiley Thanks guys I'll let you know how it turns out.
I got a package of small square velco patches. Works pretty well.
