Pedro, thanx for the encouragement. Easy as pie. Actually pretty surprising how easy.

Apparently, as Marc W noted, Porsche doesn't use the anti-squeal backing pad anymore as the old pads came right out and the new ones didn't have the pad. This kind of worried me as some had said, a long time ago, that you have to pull the calipers off.

Ok, now I am full of confidence to attack anything! Hmmm.... how about new cams? Or maybe... hmmm a 911 turbo engine replacement?!! er... ok maybe not.
What'd I tell you winking smiley

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
I know what you can do next...
