Mass Air Flow replacement...
kosiba - Tuesday, 5 July, 2011, at 3:59:07 pm
Hi All- my CEL came on, and I checked the codes, and it points to MAF sensor (I think I remember it being P0205-- but I could be wrong on this).

How much to get this fixed?

Thanks--

Ric
Find out the real code (it's not P0205) and post it here.
Check the wiring to the MAF

if it is ok, then clean the MAF.

If all else fails, you can get a pre-2000 sensor for $170 and a 2000+ sensor for $230 from AutoHausAz.

before you do anything with that code, check the connections and basic wiring of the MAF.

It might be a bad MAF, but there are other codes that we also hear as typical.
