It's a fictional story of a guy's life told through the narration of his dog. The guy is an avid racer (993 Porsche Super Cup, the Porsche content). It's a quick, interesting summer time read about balancing everyday life and racing desire. There's some recent racing history sprinkled in, as well as driving talks about certain tracks and races. His dog loves to watch Speed Channel. I'm about a third of the way through it.
