FYI, No sound from rear speakers CDR220

Found an interesting problem with my new to me 2000 Boxster S. The radio worked fine except no sound from rear speakers. I'll leave out all the intermediate steps I went through. The cause was that when the car was built, the assembler in Finland trapped the rear speaker cable between the roll bar mount and the body. When the 13mm nuts were tightened down it mashed the cable so hard 2 of the 4 wires shorted out. After I repaired it, it began working like a champ. I guess I now have a car that is better now than when it left the factory! Can't believe that the first owner didn't complain. Mark near Chicago.
