is looking to produce such a car, according to Internet rumors, based on comments made by Matthias Mueller. While it wouldn't be a retro car, it would be based on the 550 Sypder that James Dean was driving when he died. Also, Porsche is supposedly upping its R&D budget by 50%. Could be lots of interesting things happening in Germany as VW wants to get total Porsche sales up to 200,000 in about six or seven years from now.
