| 48 Hours at Sebring, 2012 Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Wednesday, 23 November, 2011, at 6:21:12 pm |
This event, which will be held at Sebring International Raceway, Feb. 2 - 5, 2012 is the largest and best Porsche Club Race in the world.
Over 300 Porsche Race Cars (100+ Cup Cars) competing in different classes, including Night Races.
The event is free to Porsche enthusiasts.
You will have full access to get up close to the cars, talk to the drivers and teams and wander the entire track infield.
Many of the Top Racing Teams will be present as well as they come directly from the 24 Hrs. of Daytona the previous week.
Throughout the event we also hold daytime and nightime Super Solo driving events. ClubRegistration.net.
On Saturday, Feb. 4 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM there's the Zone 12 Autocross Challenge.
Come participate, or just watch some of the best AX drivers several of which have various National AX Championships.

Update...
Last night (1/5/12) at the PCA meeting I learned that there are still 20 - 25 slots open for racers. If you are interested in registering for any of the races you have about 10 more days before they close registration.
SuperSolo is closed and not even taking wait listers.
But, we are in need of more volunteers.
Please register as a volunteer through the website.
Hope to see as many of you as possible there.
I'm the PCA GCR Tech Chairman so you can find me by the Tech tent just before the paddocks.

The 48 HOURS OF SEBRING Club Race has added an additional ADVANCED SOLO run group.
Club Registration is now open for you to register.
The day will start a bit earlier and end a bit later, but we had so many on the wait list that we got creative and got PCA National’s blessing to create another run group.
We fully expect this additional run group to also fill up, so do not be disappointed if you do not register ASAP.
The qualifications for this event are that you must be a PCA Certified track instructor or that you have been a solo driver for at least one year or five events.
For solo drivers, you need to have your regions Chief Track Instructor send an email confirming that your are fully qualified to drive with a large, fast group with expanded passing. page6532@gmail.com
We would very much like for you to have been trained in expanded passing.
Our team will make the final determination of who is qualified.
Please go to Club Reg and update your profile, then register and pay. If it is determined that you are not qualified you will be refunded and notified.
The fun begins on Thursday February 2nd and runs through Sunday afternoon. We have scheduled five hours of great track time for each group.
