Whereas the Rebellion Racing cars (can't recall whether the V6s or V8s) were absolutely earsplitting.by Laz - Main Forum
Trim hooks + glue ≈ talons + banded muscles (High effort + low effort applied in each case) As I said, "very vague."by Laz - Main Forum
Probably should read, "... talon-actuating tendons... "by Laz - Main Forum
"Hawks feet have a ratchet-like mechanism to aid capturing & keeping their prey without too much exertion, allowing them to concentrate on any other possible predators. The hawk clenches her muscles, tightening the toes around the prey (gripping it with the talons), when the muscles are released, the toes & talons remain locked in place." Those were terms used in a 1970s comparison of the 911 and Corvette in either Car and Driver or Road & Track. Quite a memory-jogger!by Laz - Main Forum

From this angle there's a slight suggestion of a Lamborghini convertible, not that I was trying to express that with this picture. That may be a result of the flat top surfaces and dramatic creases of the 981's sheetmetal, which could evoke a Lambo. My understanding is Porsche was actually evoking the 917 with its flat-topped fenders, etc. Also, just as with conventional photographic portraitureby Laz - Main Forum

I'm not sure if I missed it, but is this hack done without Bluetooth? That's what I'm presuming: Connecting the phone with its speaker on to Aux; listening through the car's speakers and talking directly into the phone. Crazy: I used to understand a lot about two-channel high end analog audio systems, but now, although not a Luddite by definition, I'm way behind the times!by Laz - Main Forum
I've got a 13 Boxster S with no PCM, but it has a 3.5 mm Aux jack in the glove compartment. My phone is an iPhone 7. What is your vehicle, and what phone? Do you think your hack is compatible with mine? Where do you mount the phone, (so that your voice is clear to the other party,) and what is the mounting device? Thanks in advance.by Laz - Main Forum
I looked for specs online, but found nothing past the 987. Refrigerant and oil amount, psi (?) etc. I could then have my trusted local guy, who's excellent, but not very familiar with the car, do the service. I imagine the low pressure port is on the passenger side, under the battery cover panel. It'd be great if it's not a catastrophic leak/condenser damage, and merely that the functional threshby Laz - Main Forum
