Spent three days on PittRace full course recently. South track (new) is Mid-O-esque (i.e. technical) and has a toe (T5) like WGI. North is same except now w/ the transitions a number of former turns completely change. T1 becomes a sweeper a la Mid-O's T1, T11 (formerly T4) is now high speed and T12 (formerly T5) has a hard brake zone whereas before it was more or less tap and go up the hill.by Burg Boxster - Main Forum
Lowe's also carries some but not sure they will have one sized for the companion M5 x 30 screw. Of course could get from dealer but a non 9xx-prefix part number will work just fine Take good one and screw w/ you to match for replacement and do both whilst there. Installation calls for final tightening torque: 7.0 ft-lb Good luckby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
problem you'll find, as I recall, is OEM bracket doesn't hold std 3.5" speaker size but a custom spec size instead. If you feel like doing some cutting (not necessarily minor due to bracket gauge), you can retrofit to 3.5". Not only will 3.5" be better sound wise but wallet -wise too I'm certain. Personally, I'd recommend going that route. Wouldn't worry too much about impedance delta as reby Burg Boxster - Main Forum

Arm restraints are a DE minimum requirement when running top down w/ PCA, no? Relative to your comment about not being able to easily signal... If you think it's hard/unsafe signalling in arm restraints, it's even harder passing someone wearing them because: tough seeing point by being givenpucker factor for "pointee" as more than once I've seen pointer spin b/c they jerked wheel either giving oby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
RE: Can't signal... It's even harder passing someone in not only for seeing their point by but more importantly for safety. On more than one occasion I've seen a spin b/c pointer jerked wheel either giving or whilst pulling arm back down from point by. Spotting a point from someone in a Boxster or S2K is relatively easy compared to say a Radical...by Burg Boxster - Main Forum

Years ago had hoses deteriorated over time on one - used it wet. Of course hoses stained blue etc even after cleaning. Since then I just use dry. That's kinda the nice thing either method works and one should use whichever they are more comfortable with for specific task. If just doing for first time or two I'd recommend wet as precaution since less chance of error... then again I know a guy whby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
which takes a tad more patience refilling reservoir occasionally. Not only is it better than big clean up but you also save not spending $ on cleaning agent for tank and lines. Further, you're more cognizant and keep a closer eye on tank/pressure/fluid level checking more often. As opposed to haplessly moving on to next corner where a problem will only be discovered when it's too late possiblyby Burg Boxster - Main Forum

QuoteMarcW On the face of it your claim the cooling systems of the 997.1S and the 997.1 GT3 are not different is just wrong. The two cars have quite different power outputs and if the GT3 had the same cooling capacity at the lesser model it would overheat. The S produces 355hp @ 6600 RPM while the GT3 produces 409hp @ 7600 RPM. Are coolant capacities and L/R rad p/n same between? GT3 does have cby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
