clients were either too ignorant or stupid (arguably both) to check tire pressures regularly . Ultimately they ended up with failures that sadly, yes, sometimes had catastrophic results. Of course somebody else always has to be responsible so they sued tire and car mfgs for their failings. Not wanting to be left holding the bag and rightly so, in turn they pushed for TPMS to be Federally mandatby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
upset after all the stateside hotel parking lot mods you did over the years Accordingly the heartache will last longer. Guess Ferry wanted a custom painted GT Silver Boxster in his driveway Best wishes in hunting for the replacement.by Burg Boxster - Main Forum

LY I was smitten with the new (one that works?) Targa at Detroit Auto Show. This year, I was spellbound by the: Targa GTS (a mere $172k as shown) Until I saw: But only if I can get this to match for towing to DEs: Aluminum Raptor - oh yeah! And some more good old #MadeInDetroit to scoot around at the track... Great weekend at the Detroit NAIAS and PCA/PNCA Special Preview Breakfast.by Burg Boxster - Main Forum

The article, regardless of unknown date, references POP used in 'guns' for issuing citations and agree rarer to find than traditional ones but I have encountered in roughly half a dozen states. In one particular state, officers can use POP however citations issued via readings from POP / instant on are not valid Having witnessed a few cars get pulled over when my V1 went from dark of night toby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
having mute function for local roads, shopping plazas, etc. As for laser falsing... do not be so sure it's your unit as many newer cars have a laser aided system which trigger the V1 (i.e volva and infinity in my experience). As well, newer audi, buick and cadillac also have (x-band) triggers from their lane change assist monitoring.. Upgraded my V1 two years ago to enable blocking PoP traby Burg Boxster - Main Forum

many local guys use and are pleased (especially GT2/3 owners smart enough to convert away from ill-prone CLs). They will stretch over time and need replaced at which point you'll be happy you used blue as opposed to FTNG-tight thread-lock red.by Burg Boxster - Main Forum

I can see why you are shocked. Sorry, bad typing skills from mobile device... My reference of post disappearing is in regards to 986forum's hidden commercial interest as many do not know it's owned by Wayne/Pelican Parts the seller. I wanted to highlight why I thought that post too would vanish and in doing so re-included (not really a word, I know) reference to post twice - inside AND outsby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
Interesting little thread over on 986forum right now about a pretty technical member named ghost who vanished overnight b/c of his post regarding a certain aftermarket 'panacea' too many m96/m97 members have fallen prey to. Here's a quick copy of the most recent post regarding his disappearance as I'm sure it will be gone soon (as may this post due to commercial interests involved). Just thouby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
I wonder what the PSE wink-wink acronym really is since apparently it serves to help one compensate for other short comings. Gosh, let alone what it says about those w/ aftermarket Fabspeed/AWE/etc. set-ups... * exclusively in that I come across basically the same % of jackasses per miles driven in my DD as I do in my therapy car. assuming 991 is any indication, it ain't gonna be as easy; 991 requires rear bumper removal for air filter change. Oil change requires top fan panel removal from what I understand but otherwise not much different (it no does NOT require bumper removal as widely rumored for oil change). Interestingly enough, I also understand the PIWIS system has been replaced. I'm going to a 981 drive event tby Burg Boxster - Main Forum

you want to buy the installer more than the film. Price sounds high but I don't know your market, type of film being quoted and all the coverage. Right now, IMNSHO, best film out there is Expel 10yr guarantee / self healing stuff. Crystal clear when installed properly (after it dries for a day or two and has the initial chemical burn-off depending on car color). Basically you care for filmby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
Obviously we all know V1 is the best detector out there but it's even better w/ their newer, albeit w/ a decent premium, Savvy unit. The Savvy plugs into your OBDII port to get power (obviously tapping into a switched wire or fuse panel isn't hard) but cool part of Savvy is how it automatically mutes on signals below XX (a user settable) vehicle speed. You do get initial beep at full voby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
after 11/12 years, the lifter shocks are likely shot. Though it may only be one, might as well replace both at once (i.e. headlights, etc.). Most local parts stores carry suitable replacements. You just need to pull shock off the ball joint (possibly remove safety clip if present) and take to store to get correct size. Easily DIYable...by Burg Boxster - Main Forum
Gives you head unit control of iPhone, better sound quality, charging and Bluetooth option you can add. Same price range. Very easy install if you do all in frunk, otherwise most is installed in frunk and then just run one cable to cabin for i(whatever) hookup. Eric at b-plugs sells them. There are some others options too but don't recall names.by Burg Boxster - Main Forum
