The caption for that picture should be: Tow truck driver thinking to himself as he wades thru the water, "I can't decide whether to wrap this tow cable around the moron driver's neck or attach it to the wing. Both might teach him a lesson--but I doubt it."by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
I drive the car to and from work each day and park it inside a fence, so no one messes with it. I use my cockpit cover, which is wind and waterproof, and saves wear-and-tear on the top. It was an excellent $140 investment. And here is a shot taken at the end of our driveway as I left for an evening drive.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Nice to see a Friday Scan Day posted on Friday. For those who want a German car but have never been able to afford one, you too can now own a piece of German technology for the measly price of $2000. Here is one such example I saw driving the streets of Chippewa Lake in Medina County yesterday. I again apologize for the overly-large, iPhone pics. I have seen plenty of Beemers, Audis, Mercedes, Corvettes, etc, but no P-Carc on the road this week (except for mine ). We were at Olive Garden the other night and HAD to share these pics with you. If I had been the owner of this gorgeous ride, it would never have been setting in a parking lot sandwiched between two 4-door sedans. I don't know what the problem is with these pics; Photobucketby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Very nice. What do yo use for the shine?by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Bev and I went on a group drive over the weekend, but as the event had some problems, I will decline to say more. However, the weather was perfect, we got to drive through an interesting area of NE Ohio neither of us had been to before, and I got some nice pics. Enjoy. I am convinced he was trying to prove "his was bigger than mine". The car must have been redlined. What a childish stunt.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Last week I had something happen to me while out in the Blue Box that I thought I would relate and ask for opinions. It was a typical gorgeous day, and I was out in the Box with the top down, driving home from somewhere along a rural state route in the country. A new or newer, bronze-colored Corvette hard top approached me, our combined closing speed was <120mph (each going 60mph or less). Whby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
QuoteGuenter So Kevin just had the wrong pond. For him it would be the Erie Pond. I heard that Canadians were frugal, but saving letters in a name seems to be a bit extreme.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
QuoteI can honestly say that I really love the PDK. Wait till you have a few thousand more miles on it. You will wonder why the clutch pedal was ever invented.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum

The article didn't mention email and I don't think it was used. They took the pic at an address, recorded the address, and snail-mailed the flyer to that address. Pretty easy to do. Personally, I wouldn't care to get such a flyer. Am willing to bet they got a few complaints from pinheads about "invasion of privacy" (which it's not). You are now the 3rd person here to have an Aqua Blue Metallic Boxster (Leor and I being the other two) QuoteI love the LED lights. Why does it look like the right tail lights have less LEDs lit than the left?by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum

Porsches to Ohio (P2O) is an annual, casual Porsche get-together that was first held in Oxford, Ohio in 2005, and now in Granville, which is a short drive east of Columbus and is easily accessible from I71, I70, and I77. The event is run by Mid-Ohio Region PCA (MORPCA) and is associated with the American Cancer Society after the death of one of its founders, Marylynn Roe. Entry is normally $37, bby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Yes, it is high, because the dealership is offering it. Having said that, I got it when I got my car as I rolled it into the loan. The installer is an independent the dealership hires to come in; each get their cut. What is on my car may be the X-Pel mentioned above. I know it is not 3M as the installer said the stuff he puts on cars is thicker and tougher than 3M. If you want to save money, havby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
I was out for a drive today and passed two Boxster S's that I had never seen before. The first was a newer, dark green one. The second is the one pictured below, taken with my iPhone. Although the pic doesn't do it justice, it is an older, de-badged one in great shape. Along the side at the bottom is a flat black "Boxster S" racing stripe. And if you look closely, there are two, flat black racinby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum

QuoteTire Rack has no N2's and they are discontinued. Have to buy four N4's. I had an N1 Michelin PS tire that developed a bulge recently and I replaced it. My tire dealer replaced it with an PS2, but I have been unable to find the N-rating. The number is readily apparent on the PS, but I can't find it on the newer tire. The difference in tread between the two tires is also apparently.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Someone had expressed an interest in a group, buy of this product. I did some Internet checking and found three places to buy them; two want $300 and the third wants $319. I want a set for my car and am interested in any discount I might get. If there are at least ten people who will commit to buying a set, I'll contact the manufacturer and try to get free shipping or some other group incentive.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Parts for Sale
No Joy with the Amish. The guy I talked to works with tack, not fine leather handbags. AND, he is not step for mass production. My next stop will be to an area holster manufacturer.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Parts for Sale
QuoteYou can get a pretty sweet backpack for less than $80. That's what I was thinking. Some girls have small backpacks w/ long straps that hang down to just above their butts. If the straps could be easily connnected and unconnected, they would work quite nicely. I will make contact w/ an Amishman tomorrow who works w/ leather.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Parts for Sale
I have only gotten 2-responses, probably because of my high priced guess. For all I know, the Amish might be able to do it for <$20. Considering how useful the bag has become for me after only one week of use, am surprised more guys don't want them.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Parts for Sale
