We had about 8-10 cars and most of us got hit with speeding tickets. We had folks from MA(me and Juliette), NY, VA. I know VA and MA are reciprocal with NC so we all opted for the one of the attorneys that mailed offers to get it reduced to improper equipment. The consensus was that it was cheaper to go that route rather than carry the points. Very nice little operation they have down there -Reby Rey - Main Forum

Juliette and I got home around 5PM on Monday. We stayed in Harrisburg, PA with Maurice and Cynthia at a hotel Sunday. Uneventful drive except for the slog up I81 with all the trucks and crazy traffic. We had a great time as usual and the event was perfectly run as usual. Everyone's great to be around and I have to give some special thanks to: Ron, Mary, Nell and Karl for putting on a great eveby Rey - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
Juliette and I may go over to the Biltmore Estate and poke around Asheville on Tues but for sure will see you at LS in the afternoon.by Rey - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)

and it says we're booked starting Monday the 26th. I'm not sure what prompted me to book that night too. Must have been in a stupor from the previous night. Hmm maybe we will go day even earlier. I would expect that Karl and Ron should be there Memorial Day??by Rey - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
Juliette and I plan on starting our trek from Boston on Memorial Day 5/26. Layover in the usual place in Staunton, VA that night. There we usually pick up some of the NY crowd (Kevin, Maurice, Stefan etc.) that stay in the same hotel. Following morning the usual is to get breakfast at Rowe's and meet up with some of the MD, DC, VA contingent. After that the group pushes to LS. the hens tooth Boxster isn't producing anything. I could tell Juliette was missing having a car down there last year. She's just never warmed up to the GT3. I'm trying to find a Zenith Blue/Black interior base car and it's just fruitless. Can't wait to see everyone this year! -Reyby Rey - Main Forum
Put a piece of tape over the overflow drain hole near the gas tank cap (temporarily) and see if the sound goes away. I had two Boxsters that had this "issue". -Reyby Rey - Main Forum

First off thanks to Karl, Nell, Ron and Mary for the great BRBS!. This was our 10th one and already counting the days until our 11th. What an itinerary they came up with. It's the People, Place and Cars. So we began our little trip home to Boston with a small caravan including Juliette and I, Claro and Dave and Emily Simon. We just got to the outskirts of Marion when Dave radio'd ahead that onby Rey - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)

Start is very quick. It's just something to get used to. I thought the car had stalled then remembered the start/stop system. Didn't impair anything. Also, I didn't do launch control either.by Rey - Main Forum

So on our usual BRBS return layover is at a friend's place in Leesburg, VA. He has access to launch cars from various manufacturers. We had originally planned to continue up 81N into PA but with a chance to check out the new car it was a no-brainer to add a little time to our return. For those of you who were at BRBS a few years ago this is the same friend that I swapped my car for the GT3RS withby Rey - Main Forum
Sunday night. A 981 S Press car. Both Juliette and I got to give it a good test drive. I will make a separate post on it later. Thanks you Karl, Ron, Nell and Mary. You guys continue to amaze in the ability to create memorable experiences year after year. You had your challenges this year for sure but once again some last-second tweeks and it all worked beautifully! Lots of rain for us on the trby Rey - Main Forum
