I think the plug kit makes more sense. The problem with the tire sealant is the mess it make on the inside of the wheel and likely forces you to replace the TPMS sensor in the wheel.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
QuoteJMstamford,ct I have a kid in Michigan State, maybe we take the north route home to CT and meet up? Assuming the border is open.... Yes. If the border is open, I'm in.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Happy New Year from north of the border (but south of the 49th parallel). Hey Pedro, those are some pretty cool mods to your Boxster.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
All Right! That's another hat north of the border (but south of the 49th parallel.) When we get our Boxsters dug out in the Spring, we'll have to get together for a drive and get a picture with these exclusive hats.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
You sure keep that car in terrific shape, Gary. The problem with keep it so shiny makes that speck of dust on the right rear fender stand out like a sore thumb. I like the look of those aluminum pedals. Have you had any problems with feet slipping on them when shifting and dancing through the corners? I know what you mean about the car growing on you. It's one of the special things about Boxstby Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum

It would be interesting to know if Ottocar is actually his given name or a nickname he's taken on. In German - Ottomotor is the original name of a gasoline engine invented by Nicolaus Otto. He didn't build it with cars in mind, but rather to run machinery. And of course we all know what "car" refers too - Although if Ottocar is Austrian, he'd more likely have given himself the nickname Ottoauto.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
That hat is custom made for a silver Boxster. Black to match the interior, orange PB to match the side markers and turn signals and the silver X to match the paint.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Gary, I checked my Google account, and I can't find a way of sharing pictures from my Google account to a forum like this. You can upload and share your photos for free using with the instructions that Pedro has posted at the top left. It's pretty quick and easy once you've done it a couple of times.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
one of these unique hats would make a great Christmas gift, it just might still make it in time, if ordered today.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
If we keep this up, we'll have these PBX hats all over Canada. We already have 1/4 of the provinces covered.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
You wouldn't believe how many Detroit snowbirds we get every Winter.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Hey, Mike, you know how the CURVEN8R always has a way of photobombing pictures.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
I think that my house is a lot closer to the southern point of Canada than yours. About 160 mi. for me and probably 2500 mi.for you.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Maybe some geographical confusion here. Although the 49th parallel does form a large part of the Canada / US border, quite a bit of the eastern border is well below the 49th parallel. The southern tip of Ontario is actually located at the same latitude as Northern California. So yes, it is the Canada / US border that we're talking about.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum

I'm not sure that having the negative cable disconnected to your battery makes a difference. I'm sure someone else can chime in on that. The flashing light on your key is normal when unlocking the car or trunks. You probably don't usually watch your key when unlocking your car or trunks. Are you sure that the donor battery is OK? Here are the instructions for emergency trunk release from the 2by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Quotefrogster -----I met up with Guenter when we happened to be in Los Angeles at the same time.------- Yes. I remember that. Hard to believe that was 11 years ago. And, I agree about the many friends I've made on PPBB and here on Pedros Board.by Guenter in Ontario - 10 years of PB
Wow! What a beauty, Keith. You're going to have to get a new license plate for this one because the old one's to slow. I'm sure that once you can let all 394 horses loose, you won't want to reign them in. Feel free to post more pictures. Would love to see the interior.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Really missed driving those roads this year. Glad you had a chance to enjoy them and thanks for sharing the pictures.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
I went back and found the post I had made 7 years ago. My numbers were a bit off, but it was a significant savings with the Titantpms.com sourced sensors. Original post:by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
I don't see anything that I can change / add under the "Info" setting. I can of course bring up the average consumption under the "Trip" setting.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Always glad to help. It always goes both ways. The TPMS sensors don't get replaced with different tires. I imagine that your sensors are still the originals. I know that mine are. You do have to go to the TPMS setting in your car and change the setting for different types (summer / winter, size) of tires.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
