1. If it's a sunny day and the top is already up, face the rear of the car toward the sun for a while, or 2. (Still top up) warm the car with the heater/fan going and the wind stop out. It's possible to remove it with the top up. Just don't poke the window! 3. Drive the car to warm it up. 4. If the top is already down, say from the day before, warm up the car or drive it a while so the engine heaby Laz - Main Forum
Another good idea turned into a fad, making it worse than useless. Perhaps rescuers have given up looking for the baby after a crash, perhaps not.by Laz - Main Forum
considering how close you are to Bryce Canyon, I suggest a stay at the lodge right in the park. LodgeatBryceCanyon After an overnight in Rock Springs, I had an exciting trip in a snowstorm with the Boxster on summer tires, and finally found refuge here. (It was April.) The lodge itself has its woodsy, pioneering charm, but that canyon: wow!by Laz - Main Forum

The headlight units while aesthetically pleasing (yes, debatable) and cost saving, don't have the fog lights in a position to do much good for their "intended" function. Porsche had to know this would be a functional design compromise. Fog lights should be positioned as low as possible and aimed with the upper cut off projecting at a true horizontal. I recall mounting Marchal fog lights on each oby Laz - Main Forum
I also dislike those phony blue bulbs: a triumph of form over substance. I wonder if anyone has put smoked lens covers over blue bulbs. Many times I've seen some so blue and dim I can't imagine the driver being able to see with any distinction. (Hey, while you're at it, wear your sunglasses when you drive at night.) In my relatively rural streetlamp-less environment, I've often used the fog lightby Laz - Main Forum
The clues that it's actually a red car are the desaturated elements: the washed out flesh tones, hair, and lips. As the picture appears to have been taken in strong sunlight, these features should be more strongly colored (note the sharp shadow on the pavement.) The exposure has preserved highlight detail, so it's not a case of lighter tones, like skin, being blown out. Also the relatively weak yby Laz - Main Forum
Do you think it's gonna be tricky concerning posting links to sites that might illegally be using copyrighted material? It seems odd, too, that signatures can be ok. Does proper attribution make the difference? By the way, do you know the difference between unlawful and illegal?by Laz - Board suggestions
Most quotes I use are from famous people or are otherwise well-known, at least in some circles. (Eg: quotes from movies or adages by philosophers.) Now that the discussion of copyright infringement has come to the fore, aside from it already being in the rules, I'm wondering how to determine what's in the public domain or otherwise legally exempt.by Laz - Board suggestions

At first I thought it's a custom color to match a classic 70s color, but the hat, flesh tone and calipers makes me think otherwise. It would be a nice color for Porsche to run.by Laz - Main Forum

Actually, I saw a tv ad today for it and it sounded pretty good; dare I say almost Porsche-like at steady throttle. Of course, the ad showed the car "racing" along at maybe 50 mph with the alternating interior shots showing the speedo going up from 30 to about (gasp!) 45. In contemplating this thread I went to Buick's page for the model and read some of the blurbs. To this day Detroit still can'tby Laz - Main Forum
