I'm sorry...the images appear quite large. I certainly seem to have trouble posting pics here!by grc0456 - Main Forum
I wasn’t going to go because of an iffy weather forecast, but arose early on Saturday to see things looked better than expected - so I went to Porsche Day at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline, MA - America's Oldest Car Collection. I tried to register for the event, but it was closed. Oh well, I would just go and park in the spectator area. But, when I arrived they asked me to put it oby grc0456 - Main Forum

QuotePedro (Odessa, FL) ... I'll let you steal "the original PedrosGarage 1998" Boxster for $99,999.99 (or best offer). Now, that's a bargain! Happy Bidding Pedro I's suggest asking $99,986.01. You may need a sales and marketing consultant!by grc0456 - Main Forum

QuoteStilettoPat Please keep us informed. I attended BRBS in 2013 and 14 and absolutely loved it. Had to relocate to Texas, so I did the PCA Palooza event in Eureka Springs, AR for 2 years, and although it was great, it wasn't quite the same thing. I just relocated from TX to NW SC, near the Blue Ridge Mountains, so I'm most interested in attending again, once this event starts up again. I suby grc0456 - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
Definitely. The summer fronts are 4 years old now. Actually, the front all seasons are the ones that were on the car when you sold it to me. I use the a/s as my cold weather set, and as such, they don’t see as much usage. Probably need to be replaced just due to age. Have a safe trip to French Lick!by grc0456 - Main Forum
Guilty! I bought two new summer rears this spring from TR. Never occurred to me to use the PB link. Sorry, I'll have to drive more and wear these out so I can use the link next timeby grc0456 - Main Forum
I recommend Colorplus. They have some standard Porsche colors pre-mixed on the shelf, or they will use your swatch to custom match any color. Follow the instructions close - as with any paint job, prep is the key. This including using their concentrated cleaner.by grc0456 - Main Forum
Nice! I've got all my swag from 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 (yes, I was late to the party).by grc0456 - Main Forum
Reviving this old thread. Thinking about doing a suspension refresh or upgrade to my '03 2.7L. Car is used for spirited street driving and the occasional AX. When I look at ROW M030 kit pricing now it is significantly higher than mentioned above, even considering the age of this thread. The kit is nearly $3,700 at Suncoast. Am I mission something?by grc0456 - Main Forum
We had 70F in Boston on Thursday, so I did the same. Back to cold for the next few days, though.by grc0456 - Main Forum
Haha...here's hoping mask-free times are in our near future. Actually, my wife and I (who are fully vaccinated) has been discussing continuing on with mask wearing during certain occasions when around large groups or in close quarters (theaters, concerts, planes, etc.). Anyone else remember the last time they had a regular, old cold? PS: Do not want to turn this into a pro vs. anti mask threadby grc0456 - Main Forum
Nice. I've been considering a "refresh" of some sort on my '03 with 160k miles. Not sure whether to go the fully monty route of ROW M030/PSS9 or just replace some existing parts that may have reached the end of their life - like you did. Car is mostly street driven with the occasional AX.by grc0456 - Main Forum
QuoteGuenter in Ontario Yes. It was a disappointment to hear about BRBS being cancelled again. I think the organizers are being cautious as a number of participants might not feel comfortable getting together in large numbers yet. Also, not even sure when the Canada / USA border will reopen. At least there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel. That said, I've posted a short video on Youtubby grc0456 - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
Great pic. I just drove to a fellow Northeast Region member's house yesterday, because he said he had a hat he was getting rid of......I think I too may have a hat problem.......but, having three PBB hats is not part of the problem!by grc0456 - Main Forum
QuotePedro (Odessa, FL) ... the Boardwalk Reunion in Jersey Shore (October?). Happy Boxstering, Pedro I’m game. It was fun in 2019. Assume you are presenting again? But, there’s no good driving roads around there!by grc0456 - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
Email just went out this afternoon from the organizers (insert cry emoji). Refunds on deposits (made on 2020 event) will be going out over the next few weeks. Possibility of a "mini-BRBS" in the fall, conditions allowing.by grc0456 - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
Here's a little video of the uphill, Rt. 226a section of the Diamondback in Little Switzerland taken by my friend, Anker, following me at BRBS a few years ago. Unfortunately, we got behind some slow moving two-wheelers (we even stopped a bit to let them get further ahead), but it does give you a feel for this nice, twisty route. QuoteCarreraLicious I feel the same. I actually drive my car all throughout winter, but with the recent snowfall, too much salt and cold temps don’t make for fun driving, so it’s tucked in the garage for another weekend. Can’t wait till it rains to clear up all the salt, and I’ll be taking her out again. Memories of summer: Reality of winter...can only drive my mini version: Sharp 9by grc0456 - Main Forum
It's middle of winter here in the Northeast, and I am growing weary and bored. We have a foot of snow on the ground, it hasn't been above freezing in a few weeks, and the roads are white with salt. On top of that, there's nowhere to go and little to do thanks to COVID (although I am scheduled for shot #2 of the Pfizer vaccine this week). All I have to keep me sane is memories of better times,by grc0456 - Main Forum

I already knew of this as Pedro told me, but still he was amazing lucky. I guess my brother wasn't kidding me when he told me that's why his '70 Boss 302 had hood pins.by grc0456 - Main Forum
I had that problem. I DIY'ed it at first, but it didn't hold. That may have been to the quality of the DIY, but I also took it to my local upholstery/auto top shop/. They said they could also re-glue it for a few hundred, but would give no guarantees. I ended up getting the whole top replaced.by grc0456 - Main Forum
