Yes it is. There are a lot of wineries in the Niagara Region, many of them found along the Niagara Parkway which runs along the Niagara River.

An interesting shot. I like the reflection of the mast top just behind the 3rd stop light. As a contrast. Yesterday, we had a great day with the sun coming out after 3 cloudy, dreary days and got to enjoy a nice sunny drive along the Niagara Parkway.

I know what you mean about the power. 40 HP doesn't exactly knock your socks off. I look at my Boxster as a KG on steroids. My '68 had headrests (built as part of the seat - like the Boxster's) and also had shoulder belts. Maybe Canadian models required them before the US version?

This is a picture of my 1968 Karmann Ghia, taken on a trip to Florida. I wish that I could have kept it. It was always my favourite car. But, life gets in the way. Then much late I was able to purchase the Boxster Here are a couple of pictures that I took on our California trip in 2009 in Sedona, showing some of the DNA that the Ghia and Boxster share.

This one was dark clouds and a deluge. Even having the side windows up doesn't help much as it starts coming in over top and the sides. I don't like getting the interior wet.

We took a drive along some of my favourite Porsche Roads and stopped along the Niagara Parkway for a picnic lunch with the river on one side and vineyards on the other. Nice and warm today. Hit 32 C - 90 F. And Mother Nature even provided us with a free car wash on the way home. Par for the course this year, it seems.

If you're getting lime buildup in your washer nozzles, try using distilled water instead of tap water to fill / mix your washer fluid.

Beautiful looking car. Congratulations on all the milestones. At almost a quarter century old, your car is an excellent example of what I love about Boxsters. It's such a timeless design. Wishing you a lot of great topless weather with lots of permagrin filled miles.

....almost the one for me. It sounded terrific until I got to the PDK part. I realize that the PDK will likely produce quicker lap times. But how many times will this car be used to win championship races with titles and $$$$$$$$$$$ on the line?

that Porsche will surely solve this issue by allowing you to tick off the the right options. Most owners will be more than willing to add the BSE option for a mere $3000 - $4000 so it will sound like they're virtually driving a real Boxster.

The handle makes perfect sense. It is a fabulous area. We finally had a chance to visit Yosemite on our second attempt. Our first time was in 2009 when we took my 2006 Boxster to California, but the road through Yosemite was closed due to fires and we had to detour to the north. We finally got to see it when we toured through there in 2017. That time we had a rental. Feel free to post more pic

Yesterday was the official start of the Porsche driving season here in Ontario. Upper Canada Region had its official kick off with Shift into Spring held at Porsche Centre Vaughn (part of Toronto). On our recent trip to Florida I spotted another classic, this 550 Sypder. It did have an "Outlaw" badge on the dash. It looked pretty authentic. Wish I could have had a chance to talk to the owner. Not sure if the owner drove or shipped it from California. It even had a Karosserie Wendler Reutlingen badge - they built the bodies of most of the 550's.

Quotecarlos in Montreal They said you cannot put golf clubs in the rear trunk. You can fit 2 sets nicely tucked in I've done it. Yes. Golf clubs fit into a 987, but the 981 and 981.5 rear trunk is slightly narrower on the inside, so no golf clubs.

Thanks Pedro. Just what I needed this morning. The sound of that lovely Symphony in Flat Six and Jay Leno sums it up nicely. I guess you're talking about the editing error where they show the 986 interior with 5 speed manual when Jay is talking about the 6 speed in the Boxster 25.
