Hey Marc, the water pump was bad. Thanks for your input. I have followed you rack up the miles on Porsche Pete's board as well. I still have the original clutch. My dealer wants $2350 to install the L&N bearing. The clutch package is another$825. Last year I did shocks, tires, repainted the wheels and calipers. Needless to say, I'm keeping the car!by Ponyrider - Main Forum

My 2001 S has coolant leaking from the bottom of the engine and the tank is empty. Any guess on what happened? Temp never went over 180. 122 k miles. What should I check, do? Thanks. Randyby Ponyrider - Main Forum
My 2001S was making the same squeaky sound. Needed rear shocks. And with only 118k miles! No complaints here!by Ponyrider - Main Forum

I have been taking my 2001 Boxster S to the dealer in SA and have been satisfied. Now that I have 117k miles on it, they don't seem interested. Need shocks, tires,wheels/ calipers painted and rear control arms. Doesn't seem like a bad gig to me? Any help is appreciated.by Ponyrider - Main Forum
Hey Rich, Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. Does $300 for the shocks and springs sound reasonable? How would you like me to send the money? Thanks, Randyby Ponyrider - Parts for Sale
Hi Rich, Would you sell the shocks and springs separately ? I am replacing the same on my 2001S with 120k. Thanks Randyby Ponyrider - Parts for Sale
