I bought that mesh from Max for my Cayman S. Good product and easy to install. Mine came in powder-coated white. Normby NorminHouston - Main Forum
Mike, it was a real pleasure to meet you and your lovely wife, Dianne. Hope you had a great time and it appears that you did. Hope to see you all next year. Normby NorminHouston - Main Forum

Hey, I like that a lot.by NorminHouston - Main Forum
Jeff, that pic brings back some memories. I had a 1957, a 1960 and a 1965. They were all trouble -free cars and a load of fun. Normby NorminHouston - Main Forum
Mostly a lurker now. Sold the '03 Boxster S, bought an '08 Cayman S and now drive a 2011 Cayman S. Hats off to Predro for continuing the board.by NorminHouston - Main Forum
Mag came today. Interesting article about an IMS fault detector on page 131. Normby NorminHouston - Main Forum
Lee, that sounds like a great drive. Don't think I will make Boxstoberfest this year. I usually go I-10 to Luling and after stopping for Q I take 80 thru San Marcos then 12 and 32 like you did. Instead of turning off at 473 I continue on to Blanco where I pick up 1623 and then 1888 to 1376 thru Luckenback an on to Fred. 473 sounds like a great road. 1623 and 1888 are also great up and down roads.by NorminHouston - Main Forum
Guenter, that reminds me of an experience I had back in the 60's driving from New York to Florida. Every Christmas I would drive my Austin Healey down to Clearwater beach for a short vacation. I was moving briskly down the freeway somewhere in Georgia or South Carolina when I came upon a sign that said, "Last chance to buy gas at these prices." Being a frugal young man I immediately pulled into aby NorminHouston - Main Forum
How often do you change the air filter?by NorminHouston - Main Forum
sure enough there wasn't a speck of anything inside. I was amazed that the element when spread out measured approx five feet. That's a lot of area to collect foreign matter and to protect our engines. The '08 Cayman S has 15000 miles. I have changed the oil and filter every 5000 miles. Normby NorminHouston - Main Forum
Thanks Marc! I figured you would have a solution. A little late to examine the oil coming out of the filter. Maybe next time. Normby NorminHouston - Main Forum
I just changed the oil on my Cayman and would like to inspect the filter. What is the best way to open up the filter. Should I just cut off both ends with a dremel or is there some other way to get inside? Normby NorminHouston - Main Forum
Carry a chain and padlock so you can stash the flat tire in the boonies and then go back for it in your SUV.by NorminHouston - Main Forum
My local Advance Auto Parts store advertised this special on Castrol Syntec: 5 qts plus filter, $27.99. I bought 10 qts of 10W40 for My Cayman S. They didn't have the proper filter so I substituted two filters for one of my other cars. Seems like a reasonable deal.by NorminHouston - Main Forum
However our problem was a thin sliver of ice on all the roads.by NorminHouston - Main Forum
Great video! Did Motor-man buckle up? I don't think so.by NorminHouston - Main Forum
What sort of a wrench does it take to torque those suckers?by NorminHouston - Main Forum
I guess Moll is not making them like they used to. The Moll on my '03 Boxster S lasted a little over six years. Fortunately, this one was covered under warranty.by NorminHouston - Main Forum
I bet a change of underwear was in order.by NorminHouston - Main Forum
For your info the price mentioned in the November Excellence for a 2005 Boxster S was 21,100 low and 28,300 high. Good luck in your search. Normby NorminHouston - Main Forum
Bob, no flame, but I think the Boxster butt is the most attractive in all Porschedom. Different strokes for different foks.by NorminHouston - Main Forum
