Especially love those wheels. If you get a chance would be nice to get a close up shot of them. Good luck on waiting out the snow. Leeby PLStout (Pearland,TX) - Main Forum

Taking my car from Alvin, Tx to Kerrville, Tx for a work day at the Texas Lions Camp. First good run in the car since last year when I drove up to Kentucky (Pewee Valley to be exact). Almost have 21,000 uncomplicated miles on the beast so I must be getting close to thinking about a new Boxster. Really like the new body style and the performance numbers are about the same as my current car. I reaby PLStout (Pearland,TX) - Main Forum
You can search the iManual I check it after filling up with gas, it only takes about 45 seconds to read the oil level. Leeby PLStout (Pearland,TX) - Main Forum

The deviating black carpet really breaks up what would be WAY too much sand. The carpet is on the bottom half of the doors as well. It was the color I went looking for when I decided to trade in the Boxster. I was happy to find it optioned the way I wanted on the lot. Leeby PLStout (Pearland,TX) - Main Forum
Have had a Macadamia 997 since feb of 09. I love the color. It changes so much in the light, from dark brown, almost black, to copper or bronze. Some thought I was nuts getting a brown car, but everyone likes it once they see it in the sun. Enjoy your new car! Leeby PLStout (Pearland,TX) - Main Forum
They have added rumble strips to my favorite part of hwy 16. They also have radar speed signs there as well. The signs don't bother me but I worried about the rumble strips. They are on the straight just before you start a turn. Seems a good way to upset the balance of the car at a bad time. Also would hate to be riding a motorcycle over them just before the turn. Thought I would post my path here for future reference. Had a blast on the drive, would have taken pics, but the car was filthy and the state of Texas is DRY!!! so I didn't want to pull off to the side of the road. Hot mufflers and cats are not good for dry brown grass. I've never seen so much brown and unfortunately saw some smoke in several places. Anyway I started south of Alvin and drove sby PLStout (Pearland,TX) - Main Forum
I won't be able to make Boxstoberfest this year. (boo hiss etc...) But I am going up to Kerrville this weekend for a Lions Club function. ( yeah rah etc...) In the past I had a route planner for all the great roads between here and there, but it must have been on another computer and is lost to obsolescence. Any suggestions from my fellow Pedrosians would be much appreciated. I know I've done "21by PLStout (Pearland,TX) - Main Forum
Not much info on the story from any of the local affiliates. My favorite quote from the article, "The mid-engine Boxster, however, has its engine in the rear." Huh? Boxster Fireby PLStout (Pearland,TX) - Main Forum
Sorry to hear this. I met him at Boxstoberfest. He kept sticking fake bulletholes on the cars. Had the great pleasure of sitting with him for drinks in the evening. The world lost another gentle spirit, but him and Gottfried are kickin' back and swapping tales.by PLStout (Pearland,TX) - Main Forum
