shame you have started and are located on the west coast. From the comments of fellow racers, it's a great buy. Well. I guess it's more fun to start from scratch and do it your way. Good luck and can't wait to see more pics.by Harvey in FL - Main Forum
In order to obtain the most tires to road contact, I use this little trick. Most tires have a little triangle on the side wall where the tread ends. I purchased some kids outdoor play chalk. Chalk the tires before each run with about an inch plus wide band covering the little triangle and above it on three different places around each tire. After the run, you will see where the tires are makiby Harvey in FL - Main Forum

I use the liquid filled gauge after reading many comments on another web site..... one of the reasons was.... "All pressure gauges - liquid filled and regular - need to be vented to the outside to read accurately. If not vented, as the surrounding temperature changes, they will build up pressure inside and affect the accuracy - by as much as 2-3 psi!" So I went with this model......by Harvey in FL - Main Forum

-Pry off the switch panel -Unplug the cigarette lighter plug from the back -Hold the trim ring part while twisting the cigarette lighter cylinder to unhook the tabs -Push the cigarette lighter cylinder out the front of the trim ring (it's pretty tight so you have to push hard) -You can now pull the trim ring out (have to tilt it a little because the light is attached to it Installation is vby Harvey in FL - Main Forum
Quotedb997S Is that the suction-cup mount, or a hand-made device? I purchased this cup holder mount from the "Mount Guy". However is was way to high @ 5", so I cut it down and glued it into a lower location. You can't see the lower section of the mount which has an adjustable width to make it fit tight by moving the little wheel.by Harvey in FL - Main Forum

QuoteFaster Horses (Apollo Beach, FL) Thanks for all the input. I took the car to my dealer this morning and they went over it carefully and declared no structural damage. My insurance company has already paid me less my deductible, which will be paid out when the other insurance co. pays mine. My main reason for doing the repair myself, other than saving some money, is that I suffer from tinkby Harvey in FL - Main Forum

QuoteDave In MD First outing of spring. Three days at VIR. New trailer, new wheels and tires for the road, and new track tires. Life is good! I'm ready for my third attempt to learn Sebring. Seventeen turns is fun. I was at 75 mph at turn 1, now I'm at 83 mph. Speed comes with learning the track and being smooth. It looks like I need a trip to the track once a month to keep my permagrinby Harvey in FL - Main Forum
Summit Point race track! I did not know there was a speed limit posted. Oh....the speed limit must be based on mileage and year of a car. Now I understand. Any way, you were very lucky. You must have been so innocent looking in a suite and tie. Thank g-d you did not take Cramer with you to court to represent you. Friends, We hope everyone is having a good winter . . . . Hopefully, during all these crazy ice and snow storms, your thoughts are turning to the Blue Ridge Mountains in June! Our Blue Ridge Boxster Summit 2011 plans are coming together. As you know, we're moving to Little Switzerland, NC this year. Gary Jensen, owner of Switzerland Inn, has been great to work with, and this new venue will oby Harvey in FL - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)

QuoteRed_Lightnin! I still can't believe you moved all the way to FLA just so I couldn't beat your AutoX times. Hey George, are you kidding me. You would need a 2010 GT3 RSR to beat my autox times. And then I'm not to sure that would help. I moved to FL to do DE's eight months a year. I got bored winning my autox class with Chesapeake and Potomac PCA regions.
