... this is THE BEST time of the year.
I know you put up with 6 months of the white stuff so you put your cars away for now.
Here in SoFla we put up with 6 months of wet, sticky heat and we have to drive with the top up.
Now, we get to enjoy our Roadsters!
Top went down yesterday, where our high was a chilly 79F winking smiley with only 50% humidity.
I think the top will stay down till late April when the rains return.

6 months with the top up?

With the humidity over 80% you can't go anywhere without arriving wet with perspiration.
It also rains every day in the summer.
The upside is that now the to will be down for 6 months.
Happy Porscheing

we only have s**w for about 4 months.

More good news - for you. Remember when you start to shiver at 79F, you still have your bun warmers and heater to keep you comfy. winking smiley

You know you're a true Canadian Boxster driver when
-you turn off the AC when the temperature drops below 40F
-you turn on the heater when it drop below 30F
-you also turn the bun warmers on when it drops below 20F
-you put the top up when it drops below 10F

Enjoy those "refreshing" drives! smiling smiley

I'll take the happy medium of CA. Our summers are great, the rain in winter is predictable and here it is the end of October and our drive to Hopland yesterday averaged 75 degrees. smiling smiley
comment about now being able to drive top down in FL reminds me of the Winter Park Doctor who once asked me if we could drive our convertibles in Boston with the top down in the summertime.

My immediate response was "Hell yes, why do you think we own them?"

Rain every day? If we had that up here in the summer my car would be in the garage all the time. I would not be able to stand the daily washing required to keep her looking tip-top!

When people ask me why I moved this past July from NYC to Miami Beach, I am going to show them Pedro's post!
