Fuse compartment cover
JackintheBoxster - Sunday, 28 October, 2012, at 4:29:59 pm
The cover of my fuse compartment, to the left of the pedals, is missing. Should I just go to the local Porsche dealer and get a replacement, or is there something special I should know or someplace else I should go?

Thanks.

There's one size for the 986 and one for the 987.
Then there's the TechnoVolt:[pedrosgarage.com]

If you are looking for a cover for a 986, the part number is 996-551-621-00.

The MRSP is a hefty $8.83 plus sales tax.

Not sure if the cover comes with it

but you should also get the fuse list, which is a folded piece of paper that hooks into the back of the fuse box cover.

The fuse list does not come with the cover because each model year has a different fuse list.
