Can you get a set of golf clubs in the trunk (carry bag, long clubs removed is ok)?
Fit for a 6', 220lb dude? One thing that I love about my '98 is that I removed the center console. I think the extra space for my legs is what allows me to drive the Boxster for hours and hours in great comfort. I'm guessing that removing the center console is not an option here.
I think it's about time for me to take a long lunch some day soon.
It's not always about a given length of legs mikefocke, '01S Sanford, NC - Sunday, 2 December, 2012, at 10:15:57 pm |

I can only answer your question regarding a regular cart bag with a full set of clubs that fit AOK in a 987: Here is my golf bag next to SilverBox, a 987 and subsequently in the trunk with no clubs removedQuote

981 vs. 987: are the rear trunk lid and opening shaped differently? Bobtesa - Monday, 3 December, 2012, at 8:45:41 am |

Actually when I was at the Code of the Curve event with the Cayman debut my impression was that you would not be able to get a full sized bag with drivers etc. in the back behind the seats, but it would have to go in the passenger seat much like the 981. The 'hatch' back comes down too sharply to have space for the bag above the metal cross beam that have just rear of the engine. I am not positive about that since I did not happen to have my clubs in the back of SilverBox at the time.Quote

Luckily, golf is not a sport so it doesn't really matter. dghii - Monday, 10 December, 2012, at 9:17:54 pm |
