convertible top issue,on 1998 boxster, motor works,switch is good,relay works

park brake light on dash,is on/ but the convertible top light on dash isnt comming on, by passed everything wenr direct to motor and all worked as shood up and down, where would i check next , please help

Do the windows drop approximately 4 inches when you pull the convertible top latch handle down to begin the opening cycle?

You should also check the two fuses that allow power to go to the convertible top motor: B6 (power to the double relay) and D3 (power to the electric motor).

there are two microswitches activated by the top latch so even if the windows lower, it could be the other switch. Undo the top latch and hold the tab in with your finger and see if the top works.
