DOF - Direct Oil Feed
Roger987 - Thursday, 5 September, 2013, at 7:57:52 pm
Anyone here have Pedro's DOF installed?

To me, it seems like the most promising solution offered to date.

Since I will likely keep my 987 for quite a while, I'll likely go the DOF route. I'm interested in feedback in general, and in particular on the installation (especially where it's been done by an independent).
... I'll let them chime in.
Happy Porscheing,
Pedro

please count me in - will keep my 986 as long as I can. not worried all too much regarding the IMS but any solution to prevent the possibility of failure I would consider.

cheers

I had the DOF installed recently while having work done on my transmission.

The install was straight forward , Tuners Motorsports did the work.

They pay attention to detail , work efficiently and keep things very clean.

Very impressed with this Solution and I highly recommend it.

I had the IMS bearing in my MY02 Targa replaced with the DOF kit including a replacement ceramic IMS bearing. The work was done by a friend who has done several LN bearing replacements. (The original bearing seems to me to be perfect with about 64,000 miles on it.) I have about 100 miles on the car so far.....and all seems OK. The installation was pretty much routine, comparable to the LN kit, except for the need to cut the notch for the oil line.

Next up, my MY03 Boxster..........
