Does anyone have a hack to permanently disable traction control? I need to hit the button every time I hit the track in my spec Boxster (986) and sometimes I forget until it starts kicking in.
... write "TC & A/C OFF" on a piece of tape which I put on the steering wheel so I don't forget. Happy Boxstering, Pedro
Pedro Bonilla 1998 Boxster 986 - 311,000+ miles: [www.PedrosGarage.com] PCA National Club Racing Scrutineer - PCA National HPDE Instructor - PCA Technical Committee (Boxster/Cayman) Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar
"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"
"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti
"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
Got that. I still forget sometimes, usually when I turn the car off on the grid because of a prolonged delay. Not really a problem for practice because you notice it as soon as you're up to speed but I forgot in a race once and it cost me a position. It would really be nice to be able to just disable it.
