I wonder if the engines that are removed will be re-built and resold for use in the world?
a replacement engine is necessary to satisfy a warranty replacement of the engine currently in the car.
The latest video on the Porsche factory had a portion on the engine building with lots of different workstations and different individuals involved in the assembly of any particular motor--way different from 15 years ago..
Likewise, there were many automated functions like the the torquing of various bolts/nuts through out the motor.
