Just watched the Colbert Report and those two Mythbusters guys were on. Colbert asked them for a teaser about an upcoming episode. They said it would be about a car that's supposedly more aerodynamic going backward than forward, but couldn't say the name for legal reasons. Well... anybody here recall that being said about a certain front engined water cooled 8 cylinder sports car produced by a certain company known for air cooled rear engined cars?

Just creating some buzz for it perhaps. It was a teaser after all.
It wouldn't be that 1957 model featured on eBay?

It was also pretty stupid, because they cut off the body and welded it back on to do the test. Never heard of a wind tunnel, huh?

Racecar spelled backwards is Racecar

"Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting" ... Steve McQueen as Michael Delaney in "LeMans"

"If you wait, all that happens is that you get older"... Mario Andretti

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose" ... Ayrton Senna
...which is why i watch it! *NM*

And what was it that they tested?

Clue: they called it "829."
