I attended the "Porsche's in the Park" this weekend at St. Armands Circle in Sarasota, FL. This is an annual event sponsored by our wonderful host Suncoast Porsche. There were about 150 pcars on display. This year there was a 997 cab with a hack nobody could believe. The one front seat does swivel to either side to help the driver get into the pcar. and it will have a six-speed automatic gearbox which will henceforth be operated by paddle shifters. I guess Porsche needs to be more aggressive to stay competitive.by Harvey in FL - Main Forum

QuoteBobtesa I'll stick with the only Porsche that has the "roof or no roof" as standard. For you younger pcar owners, its a G.I. can opener used in WWII.by Harvey in FL - Main Forum

There are several different ones available but I believe this one is the best. I have one which I used in MD; but, now I'm in FL which does not require a front plate. I'm willing to sell it for $50 + shipping. You would need to call the company to find out if the one I have from a 997.1 is okay with your car.by Harvey in FL - Main Forum

QuotePedro (Weston, FL) I don't recall the tank (in the background) to help me pinpoint the exact turn where it was taken. Can anyone help? Maybe you've got that tank in the background of one of your photos as well (Harvey?). If you have a similar photo can you post it and clarify where it is? Happy Boxstering, Pedro I'm sure it's turn 11 as you can see from the attached pic from another evby Harvey in FL - Main Forum

$65,000 for Liquid Metal Grey or Liquid Metal Blue finishes. Are you kidding me, I will be ordering the 918 with regular paint and buy a new boxster for the $65K just to pick up the groceries.by Harvey in FL - Main Forum

He did have an opportunity to drive it at Sebring this past weekend; but, did not because after driving the beast, his next big hack would be to convert his old fairful to "Pedrozilla".by Harvey in FL - Main Forum
I was also at Sebring yesterday and was watching an "R" go from my rear vieiw mirror to viewing it thru my winshield. The "R" seems very fast thru the apexs.by Harvey in FL - Main Forum
