If so, just sacrifice existing ones w/ simple crimp/pinch over using vice grip/clamp. If not, simply use rubber cap or plug i.e. vacuum cap/plug. Then wrap w sandwich baggy or shrink wrap for good measure. Might lose a drop or two over very long period but minimal in my experience and all sorted upon full flush at reinstall... and considerably less than is lost upon removal of caliper . Thanks for peephole view I would say much better in a couple of spots: particularly 2 thru esses, up back straight and into/out of "bus stop". At B/S your entry speed was ~ +10MPH than previous and smooth throughout... exit looked considerably quicker but didn't note exact delta. Those new cheez-it curbs especially in B/S (plus new radii of them) really slow you when clipping. Likewise goby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
Have a blast - their new surface is great! You very much get an almost new track to learn as number of corners changed in and of themselves. More so in combination w/ the new FIA curbing plus many previous markers are gone. Enjoy and be safe!by Burg Boxster - Main Forum
from what I've heard of the 'situation'. This of course marries well w/ the typical corporate-esque statement "we appreciate so and so's contributions over the past X and wish them well in their future endeavors". Regardless, IMNSHO, Pano benefited from some very nice transformations the first couple months Pete jumped on board; most notably his edict to curtail the inordinate amount of khaby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
you're going to monitor pad wear/thickness w/ frequency (as should be done)... you can eliminate need for sensors all together. Simply cut each lead up near plug and short them out (just twisting bare wires together, either solder or use a crimp terminal and then heat shrink tube to seal them from elements) thus removing and replacement worries. Your savings should promptly be applied to garageby Burg Boxster - Main Forum

Yes, on all 9x6s behind center console: you will find this (typically taped to floor) Depending on what and where you want to wire, if you pop alarm light trim center dash, you can sneak a wire down along 'firewall' or across dash over to a-pillar. Or from telephone plug to back of horseshoe (where existing cig-lighter) is fairly easy. Good luckby Burg Boxster - Main Forum

factory amp is "rated" at 40W PEAK. Metaphorically speaking... that'd be 55mph downhill w/ a really stiff tailwind So more like less than 2-3W @ "4Ohm" so no real load imbalance issues if you disconnect right side and turn on at low volume for test. However, if you just remove and do not swap sides (plug is same as they are universal side to side) you will only be able to isolate problemby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
and it's been a long time since I had a 986 so I could be mistaken... There is a crossover capacitor in each dash speaker . Could be mistaken but I seem to recall there being one as each speaker unit has a mid-range and a tweeter. Also why a simple test as I suggested to flip flop sides would quickly rule the speaker either as cause or not. Good help as always though, Grant.by Burg Boxster - Main Forum

You are most likely correct. Quick test would be to switch speakers side to side and when issue follows you'll confirm drivers are issue. Replace easily with some nice coaxial 4.25" drivers and some simple mods. Good luckby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
