You can use the same products/techniques as for the headlights. I like a product from Griots: Ceramic Headlight Restoration Kit. Many auto parts stores carry it or you can order direct from GriotsGarage.com. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
Is the cloudiness inside or outside? If it's outside a product for headlights can restore it. If inside it may be condensation. Check the gasket and out ventilation. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
The date of manufacturing is stamped on the sensors. I guess when you order you could ask the vendor what is the date on your sensors. All sensors transmit a signal in 433 mHz. Most of the time the car picks up the new sensors automatically after 10-30 miles of driving, but every now and then it won't. In that case the TPMS must be "kick-started" with the PIWIS. ... that one is made by Titan ($149) the second is made bu HUF ($169), otherwise they're compatible. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
Most of the aftermarket TPMS parts are pretty much the same. The important thing is the operating frequency 433 MHz.3 I've used the HUF and really have had no issues. Happy Porsche'ing, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
I would install new TPMS sensors with the tires. 9 years is certainly a good run for them. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
... but my chin was whacked! The bang on the head had happened to me and most of us with older cars, I'm sure. But when I replaced the hood of my car with a carbon fibre one (33 lbs lighter) I thought nothing of the struts. So I installed it, everything fit nice but was off about 2 mm to one side, then I opened it to adjust and as I pushed the lever to allow the hood to open, it got pushed up soby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
It still sounds to me like the CLU is at fault. I'm not fond at all of the waterproof case for the CLU ... because it's not ... waterproof. I think you're calling the Central Locking Unit the Immobilizer. The Immobilizer is actually a function of the CLU (when it doesn't recognize the key in the ignition) and doesn't allow current to the coil packs. ... from last year. The latest gossip is that Porsche just signed with Red Bull to be their engine provider in 2025 when the new regs kick in. Red Bull's contract with Honda is only through 2024. Happy Porsche'ing, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

... will NOT be as popular as ICE racing. Not even close! Just look at the failure of Formula-E. Porsche had touted it to the point of dropping out of several racing series to participate in Formula-E. Now Porsche has developed synthetic fuel so they can keep Formula-1 as ICE cars. Porsche will most likely be providing engines to Red Bull and others. Happy Porsche'ing, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

… James Cecil Thorpe whose moniker on PB was “old timer”. Cecil was a good friend and any old timers here and on PPBB will surely remember him. There was no better story teller who had a special sense of humor that you had to understand. Complications from COVID-19 took him from us. You will be missed, dear friend. Godspeed Cecil. ... last Thursday, on our way to PCA's Werks Reunion in Amelia Island ... It was a great event. 800+ Porsches on beautiful golf fairways with perfect weather. I also had the chance to attend the event with my oldest son, Pedro Jr. He is now working with me, and as he says, he put the "S" in PedrosGarage. Generally the grinding comes from a broken gears in one of the transmissions. You can purchase aftermarket gears through eBay. The gears are plastic and you should replace with plastic. Several places offer aluminum gears as replacement but those are dangerous as they could badly hurt someone's arm. The plastic ones are made to break albeit they become a wear item with time. The swap to the '03/'04 convertible top is not a plug-n-play installation. The two tops are mechanically compatible, but there are some microswitches that need to be moved and/or installed for the conversion to work properly on a previous model year. I don't recall exactly where, but there are several articles that explain the installation. You cab google it. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

... from a fine week of Porsches and Porsche Club Racing. Even though the event was a bit abridged (close to 200 race cars) it was still exhilarating. The combination of COVID and crazy winter weather up north kept the numbers subdued. Looking forward to next year already.
