Can you point me in the right direction of were the "Purge Valve," part number 996-605-201-01/244 and part number 7.22098.04.0 is located on the car? I want to change this part out, but can't find its location. thanks, Fernby martinef1963 - Main Forum
I just replaced the Regeneration Valve. It was easier than what it appeared. If you follow the link that San Rensho sent me - it was a breeze. The hardest part was gaining access to the nut under the LH manifold that holds the regeneration valve cable in place with a clamp. I did manage to get a 8mm open end and was able to remove without breaking like the link suggested. Aside from that preby martinef1963 - Main Forum
Hey - thanks a lot. How about the purge valve - can you point me in the right direction on its location on the car / engine? thanks - the post helps me out tremendously - I was already wrapping my head on removing the left hand intake manifold. Fernby martinef1963 - Main Forum
Hello to all, I posted a while back an issue with my 2000 Boxster - after fueling up, hard start problem. I have done some research and have purchased a Fuel Vapor Canister Purge Valve and a Regeneration Valve. don't want to steal the thread, but I too get the spoiler light all the time, however, I manually lower the spoiler, the light stays on, then drive off and it goes away? What can that be - again, not trying to steal the thread, must throwing it out there and maybe all of us that have the same issue can get an answer. thanks, Fernby martinef1963 - Main Forum
Thanks, I was hoping someone other than myself has had these symptoms on the forum. Fernandoby martinef1963 - Main Forum
The car has no problems starting cold, warm, or hot. It only has trouble starting after we gas it up. To try and further troubleshoot I filled the gas tank and just putting in $20.00, $15.00, etc... and every time I stopped and gassed - it created this problem. thanks, Fernandoby martinef1963 - Main Forum
Hello to all, I am new to the forum. I live in Miami and came across Pedro's Garage. My wife and I just purchased a 2000 Boxster and it has some projects that I will be tackling a little at a time. One of the immediate problems that I am having is after I fuel the car - it always does NOT want to start. I have to physically step on the pedal and make her rev high in order to force feed the gaby martinef1963 - Main Forum
