Guys; 2003, 2.7 Boxster I have been battling with that roof rope since last year. That rope looks like a shoe rope. It goes from side to side of the roof just between inside liner and the roof membrane. That rope is attach on both sides to a kind of plastic eye that is screwed with a 15mm Tork screw. On both ends of the rope, there is a piece of sewed fabric. Questions: 1- When looking on both sby Thierry, Quebec City, Canada - Main Forum
I had that problem 2 years ago and found the solution. If you want to see if your problem is the same I got, do the following test: Open the gaz door. Look at the right side of the door when open. There is a hole. Cover it with a piece of tape and go for a road test. If the noise as disappeared, the problem is related to one or both shutoff valves that are exhausting through that hole. Guys; weird problem, seach the internet but no answer... I discover that the A/C system is blowing much colder air on driver side that central and passenger side. I mean I get 50F at driver grill, 60 center grills and 68F at passenger grill. I have a 2003, 2.7 Boxster, there are no driver/passenger individual temperature setpoints... Do I miss something or what? Thanks Thierryby Thierry, Quebec City, Canada - Main Forum
Maybe I'm wrong but I think that your 2000 Boxster doesn't came from factory with a 125.00 MAF. It probably came with a 124.00 series MAF. If it's the case, going from 124 series to 125 series need a DME update or reflash but going from 125.00 to 125.01 don't. Maybe it can be a good thing to plug a PST2 and see if the DME have been reflash to accept 125 series MAF... Maybe somebody on the forum wby Thierry, Quebec City, Canada - Main Forum
