"One is the 987 now has an intake for the engine on each side of the car, instead of just on the driver's side, so you get the intake sound in stereo. The exhaust system sound wouldn't be effected by this." 981 ...right.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

QuotePedro (Weston, FL) A few PB members came to see Porsches playing at the largest Club race in the World: The 48 Hours at Sebring. We had close to 400 Porches on the track (not all at once) during our 21st 48 Hours event. It's a lot of work, it takes over 200 volunteers and two PCA Regions (Gold Coast and Suncoast) to make it happen. Although it was cold and rainny on Thursday and friday, theby BLKBOXS - Main Forum

It is a bit strange as the 2012 987 Boxster Black edition and the 2011/12 987 Spyders both have 320 HP...which is good, however why would Porsche purposefully set the bar lower at 315 when we (all very intelligent) follow the HP rated ad nauseum?by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
Merry Christmas everyone! I hope when your friend commented about your "pooper" you replied " Thank you...it sure is a nice one....because as everyone knows "Exhaust = Pooper"...I believe I read that in an issue of Excellence.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

QuoteGuenter in Ontario QuoteGary in SoFL Cayman S, or Macan S, as of today. Times, priorities and needs change. Had another member of the family really interested in the Macan, until she found out it only came with PDK. I believe the base Macan will be offered with a manual tranny...it is most likely wishful thinking..but there got to be some hope...tis the season.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum

QuoteGary in SoFL When you drive a 991, the steering feels lithe and super-quick. In a 991 you feel the road. The car you feel through the seat because the mass is behind you. This is less obvious with newer 991s But its all still true, just refined down to where its harder for the average person to notice, at least that is until you start running out of traction. This is where the 911, and to aby BLKBOXS - Main Forum

QuoteMeredith in Atlanta Did that work? That is a beautiful car...great choice. I did notice you have not forgotten the Porsche parking strategies to minimize the risk of unwanted door infractions. Enjoy you new Boxster. See you and everyone at BRBS ....~ 180 days away..start packing.by BLKBOXS - Main Forum
QuoteMikenOH There don't seem to be a lot of 987.2 cars with manuals for sale. Looks like you have 2 cars there to choose from...the 2010 (987) and the 2012(987S)...if $ is a concern ...don't drive them both...the 987S has lots of extras, like PSE and Nav...I know that I wouldn't stand a chance if it was me..I would mtg the house, sell the stamp collection and rent out my water heater.
